He is also survived by his mother, Shirley Sadler Adams of Ripley, TN., and father, Danny Ray (Darlene) Williams of Millington, TN. Brad is survived by a brother, Clint Adams of Ripley, TN., and a loving step father, Rick Adams of Halls, TN. Brad is also survived by his fiance', Candy Curtis and daughter Caitlynn Curtis of Ripley, TN. He also leaves his grandparents, Mrs. Fannie Lee Williams of Ripley, TN. and Dr. Stuart and Mrs. Dotsy Sadler Crichfield of Halls, TN. Brad was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Mr. James C. Charles Richard "Dick" Stanfield, Jr., 79, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was the former owner and founder of Stanfield's Nursery 50 years ago and was a Presbyterian. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was President of Dyersburg High School Booster Club, founding member of the Dyersburg Bass Club, member of Ducks Unlimited and a member of Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce for 30 years. Dick was a member of Dyersburg Jaycees, former Boy Scout Leader, member of the Moose Lodge and member of the Tennessee Conservation League. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH in 1961. It was there he met his wife, Nancy.

Colin Alley, age 41, of Ripley died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Crockett County Nursing Home of Alamo, TN. Colin was born September 3, 1973 in Memphis, TN. He is the son of Franklin D. and Julia Anne (Husk) Alley. He was employed by West TN High Security Facility as a Correctional Officer. Colin Alley was a member of the Ripley Church of Christ and an Eagle Scout. He is survived by two daughters, Samantha Alley and Brooklynn Alley both of Ripley, TN. He also leaves his parents, Franklin D. and Julia Anne (Husk) Alley. Colin is also survived by two brothers, Denohal Alley of Onieda, TN, and Brad Alley of Ripley, TN. The funeral will be held 11:00 am. on Wednesday, March 4 at Ripley Church of Christ, 1499 Hwy. 51 N. Ripley,TN Robert Taylor and Justin Paschall will be officiating. Mrs. Virginia Young Landsee, age 89, a resident of Guntersville, AL for the past 35 years, died peacefully February 24, 2015 at the Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Landsee was born in Dyersburg on February 5, 1926. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Miles Adams Young, lifelong residents of Dyer County. She attended Murray State College in Kentucky and graduated from St. Joseph School of Medical Technology in Memphis with a degree in Medical Technology. While working at St. Joseph Hospital, she met and married Dr. George Landsee. They had two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn L. Dear of Kansas and Mrs. Marilyn L. Dewease of Cordova. After working and teaching at the University of Tennessee Medical Units in Memphis for 20 years, she was supervisor of Hematology and Coagulation at Baptist Hospital before moving to Guntersville, AL. She was employed at Dr. Sara Martin's office for 15 years as Office Manager. She had taught Dr. Martin at the University of Tennessee Medical Units while Dr. Martin was studying for a masters Degree in Medical Technology. Mrs. Landsee was an avid sea shell collector and had a love of flowers and the outdoors. Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Monday, March 2, 2015 Graveside at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Reverend Gary Meade. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
