Naomi Buckelew Archie born and raised in Lake County, in rural northwest Tennessee, passed away peacefully in Columbia, SC on May 10, 2015 after a short hospital stay resulting from a heart attack. As a housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Nona, as many called her, never met a stranger and even to the end was making people smile. Having been a member of First Baptist Church of Tiptonville, TN, for 67 years and Phillippy Baptist Church since childhood, she was always very active in all facets of the church. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, worked with Gs and RAs and served in all capacities for the women's missionary union. She often times visited and sang at nursing homes or just allowed others to talk and she always promoted her love of God and family. She also loved outdoors and working in the yard, taking care of her pool and being a core figure in her family.
Naomi is survived by three sons, Terry (Sandra) Petty of Tiptonville, TN, Butch Archie of Samburg, TN and Chuck Archie of Columbia, SC. She has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is survived by three siblings, Frank (Sara) Buckelew of Jonesboro, AR, Bessie Sanders of Fulton, KY and Richard (Katie) Buckelew of Clinton, KY. She was especially close to Geneva Jones, who helped care for Naomi the last three years of her life.

Catherine Frazier Patty LeDuke passed away on the morning of May 6 th , in h er home on LeDuke Street in Tiptonville, Tennessee; a home she lived in for 75 years, built by her and her husband in 1939. For almost 40 years she was ½ of a team known simply as "Miss Catherine and Mr. James Neville." Her husband, James Neville, preceded her in death in 1977. Miss Catherine was a revered teacher to more than one generation of students at both Tiptonville and Lake County High School, a mentor to a long list of students who followed her example and became teachers themselves, and an inspiration to the congregation at her beloved First Presbyterian Church in Tiptonville where she was an Elder.
Following her retirement in the early 80's she took up the hobby of photography and was rarely seen after that without a camera in her hand. Catherine was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star, a lifetime member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an active member of the Lake County Historical Society, the first chairperson of the Lake County Primary Care Center, and was West Tennessee's first inductee into the Tennessee Teacher's Hall of Fame.

Ouida Gooch Belton, age 86, of Halls, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. She was born on April 8, 1929 to the late Sidney and Kathleen Gooch. She graduated as class salutatorian from Halls High School and started working for the Ford Dealership in Halls. After relocating to Memphis, she continued to work for the Ford Company and on November 1, 1953 she married Jackie A. Belton, of Halls, Tennessee. In 1977, Ouida graduated from Memphis State University, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Business Degree and was hired by the Holiday Inn Corporation where she held various positions of responsibility until her retirement. Ouida loved God and was faithful to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved the church and was dedicated to service. She taught Sunday School to various age groups from babies to adults and served as the church Sunday School director, as well as, the church Women's Missionary Union director. Ouida, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jackie Belton; her daughters, Catherine Ann Belton of Halls, TN, Sondra Wright (Larry) of Memphis, TN, and Amy Winn (Mike) of Bryant, AR; her siblings, Sonny Gooch (Lou) of Germantown, TN, Douglas Gooch of Ripley, TN, and Joe Gooch (Jeannie) of Collierville, TN; her grandchildren, Will Wright (Megan), Emily Cavallo (Mike), Sarah Robinson (Jake), Amanda Ward (Daren), Allison Maxwell (Jake), Mark Winn and John Winn; her great grandchildren, Hannah Ward, Caroline Ward, Caleb Cavallo, and Holt Robinson; and a number of nieces and nephews. The true joy of his life was the relationships with his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and his grandchildren, who called him "Daddy Frank". He treasured each special trip and activity that they shared. He graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1964. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteer fan. He was a longtime real estate developer and broker. He was a retired SGT First Class with the Tennessee Army National Guard, where he served for 33 years.
