He was a truck driver for Crook Planting Company and attended Three Oaks Baptist Church. He was a 1971 graduate of Dyersburg High School. James received numerous awards from his career with Combined Insurance Company and served in the Tennessee National Guard. He was a past member of the Dyer County Fair Board and past president and founding member of Island 18 Hunting Club. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, avid outdoorsman and a proud father and grandfather.

She was a retired business owner of Hilltop House. She was a member of Finley First United Methodist Church, where she was the organist for 40 years and was a member of the Dyersburg Cotillion Club. Mrs. Donna Jo previously served as a speech and hearing teacher for Dyersburg City Schools and was a volunteer reader at all of the community schools.

Funeral services for Mr. Yarbro will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Jim Tom Pilcher, Reverend Ed White and Reverend Dell King. Dennis Peckenpaugh, 67, of Finley, TN, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 21, 1947 to the late Egbert "Son" and LouElla "Sis" Peckenpaugh. He was a member of the Finley Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School director, song leader, and was on several church committees; a past Scoutmaster and an Eagle Scout; and, a member and President of the Lions Club. Dennis was a volunteer with the Finley Fire Department. He was a Dyer County Constable where he served as a Reserve Deputy at various times and a Navy veteran. He served president, secretary and treasurer of the Tennessee Constable Association. Dennis was selected as West Tennessee Constable of the Year in 2002. Funeral services for Mr. Peckenpaugh will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 20, 2015, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Charlie Halliburton and Brother Eddie Wilbanks. Laurice was a member of Tiptonville Women's Club, member of the PTA, the Band Boosters and taught Sunday School at the local nursing home. She was on the board of the Reelfoot Arts and Crafts Association and was active in all community activities.
