The friends she made in childhood were her friends for life, and every stage of her life brought new and lasting friendships. Grace's family wants her friends to know how very much they meant to her. Grace loved being a mother. She was so good at so many things, but she mastered this art of loving her two children unconditionally; she was always happiest when talking about them or when in their presence. She was a child at heart with an old soul, a lover of old movies and of learning everything she could about her ancestors. She saw the best in people and once you were in her world, she'd never, ever let you go. She will be remembered for every single thing about her including her gracious spirit, her loyalty, and her ability to command a room with her laugh, her generosity, and because she was belting a song at the top of her lungs. She worked as an insurance professional for most of her adult life, and most recently served as office manager for Barnett Insurance with her dear friend and boss, Ray Barnett, for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Alicia Yarbro Cutler. Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2021 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Jim Tom Pilcher. The family will receive close friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. ~ 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19, please wear a mask and keep a safe distance from others. The family requests memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929. We are privileged and honored to serve the Ozment family. You may share your condolences and your memories with the family at www.curryfuneral.com.
