She is also survived by a brother, Clyde Paul of SC. Bernice also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Late T.J. Willette. Born on February 27, 1938 to the late Benjamin and Melissa Seaton, Mrs. Pruitt was one of eight children. Survived by sisters: Dixie Willis Carson (Johnny) and Betty Seaton Willis (Harold), "Granny" as her family so affectionately called her is now proceeded in death with six siblings: Carl Seaton, Randy Seaton, Kenneth Seaton, Brenda Kemp, and Dean Lambert.

Lt. Col. R. Raley Thomley, USMC (Ret.) age 88 of Newbern passed away on Friday at the Tennessee State Veteran's Home in Humboldt.

Raley was born in Newton, AL to the late Bert and Selma Raley Thomley. Raley served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and then graduated from Andalusia High School in Andalusia, AL. After graduation he attended Marion Military Institute. As a 1954 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps serving as an Engineer and Intelligence Officer. Raley served in Vietnam from 1965-1966. After being Director of Computer Operations in Philadelphia, he retired in 1973 at the rank of Lt. Col. After his military career, Raley served as Director of Computer Operations for Holiday Inn in Memphis. He enjoyed flying, skiing in Colorado, hunting, tennis and running filled his retirement years.

Pat was born in Lawton, OK to the late Murray Lester "Jack" Buford and the late Evelyn Jane Manness Buford. Other than her parents, Pat was preceded in death by an older sister; Barbra Jean "Jeannie" Buford, a special aunt and uncle; Ralph and Libby Montegue, and a special cousin, Gene Montegue. Others that preceded her in death: father and mother in law, Boots and Gladys Bushart; brothers in law: Mike Fewell, Harlis Bushart, Royce Bushart and Leonard Davis and sisters-in-law Geraline Davis and Sybil Bushart; a great nephew, James Bushart and a special niece Dot Bushart. She is survived by her husband, of nearly 50 years, Riley C. "Pete" Bushart, three daughters: Patricia (Chuck) Merrell of Brownsville, TN., Pam (Dean) Gaters of Brownsville, TN. and Stacey Jackson (fianc Russ Pool) of Friendship, TN. Pat also leaves two sisters; Lyn Fewell of Halls, TN, Ann (Barry) Carter of Maury City, TN; two brothers; Terry Don (Pat) King and Joe (Clauetta) King. She leaves a special cousin, Murray Montegue. Grandchildren: Patrick (Amanda) Hatch, Riley (Sarah) Hatch, Shay Williams, Brandon (Presley) Gaters, Corey (Beau) Thompson, Rachel (Chad) Jackson, Drew Gilliland, Mikayla Jackson, Ava Grace Pool, Matt (Barbie) Merrell, Cody (Jami) Merrell. 16 Great-grandchildren and 4 on the way. Pat also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Friday June 22, 2018 from 5-8 pm and Saturday from 1:30 until service time at 2:30 pm. He was born on May 24, 1926 to the late Royal Earley and Nannie Mae Carlisle in Dyer County. He attended school until the 8th grade, and helped his father on the family farm until joining the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Miss Louise Crumley and later they welcomed their only son, Randy. Pat was a wonderful father, not only caring for his wife during her illness, but also making sure Randy had everything a little boy needed. Nights pitching the baseball back and forth and road trips to Memphis made memories for a lifetime.
