Joyce Viola Henson Hill, age 83, of Ripley passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at home in Ripley. Joyce was born July 16, 1935 in Lauderdale Co., TN. She is the daughter of the late Samuel Guy and the late Wilma (Gunner) Henson. She was as a homemaker and former Tupperware employee. She is survived by three daughters: Sammie Ward of Halls, TN, Robin Burrow of Lake Of The Ozark, MO. and Donna Lents of Halls, TN: two sons: Leslie Shands and Richard Shands both of Halls, TN; two step-daughters: Glenda Hayles of Brighton, TN and Teresia Quilbio of Jackson, TN; a step-son, Dewayne Shands of Memphis, TN. Joyce is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Shands, step sons: Phillip Shands and Loyvoid Hill Jr. Joyce was also preceded in death by her husbands Wallace Shands, and Loyvoid Hill Sr. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8pm Monday at the Halls Funeral Home. He was born June 27, 1972 in Dyersburg Tennessee but would have been well suited to be born in 1872. He was a carpenter by trade but a woodsman at heart. He studied and lived for hunting, trapping, fishing and exploring the woods. He also enjoyed raising a garden and cooking what he caught, collected or grew for friends and family. He loved telling dramatic tales of his adventures.

She was born on July 5, 1929, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Fred and Mary Rose Joseph Selliman. Audrey was a homemaker and was a member of the Red Hat Club. She was a member of St. Matthew Episcopal Church and was also a member of the Bible Study Group. Audrey enjoyed gardening and creating floral arrangements. She also loved dogs, dancing, baseball, reading, cooking and playing canasta.

Born January 6, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Jerry and Miga Ann Mitchell Funderburk. She was a homemaker. Shirley moved her membership to First Baptist Church on December 15, 1980. She was very faithful member of Joy Life Group Class and worship.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 12, 2019 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home and Saturday, April 13, 2019 beginning at 9:00 am until service time at the church.

He is survived by three daughters, Evelyn Kay Rogers, Penny Gay Walton, both of Lenox, Heather Michelle Sanders (Eugene) of Finley; one son, Franky Ray Walton (Stephanie) of Lenox; one sister, Brenda Walton of Lenox; one brother, Daniel Walton of Lenox; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
