Mr. Alton Gaylon Pease, 68, of Dyersburg died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at his residence. He was retired as a master tool & die engineer, attended Holy Hills Baptist Church and a member of Mason Grand Lodge of Mississippi #0617. He was a master gardener and chef and avid outdoorsman. Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2010 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Hallum officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Pease family will receive visitors Saturday evening from 5:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home. Survivors include 2 daughters, Shauna Bledsoe and husband Chris of Enville, TN and Sherri Pease of Dyersburg, TN, 3 sons, Tony Pease and Danny Pease both of Dyersburg, and Joey Pease of Memphis, TN, his companion of 12 years, Sherrian Guinn of Dyersburg, TN, 3 sisters, Ramona Demcshak of San Antonio, TX, Peggy Sanders of Chattanooga, TN and Katie Kemz of Syracuse, NY, 2 brothers Larry Pease of Collierville, TN and Griffin Pease of Orlando, FL, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews and very special friends, Rev. & Mrs. Richard Hallum. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Delia Davis Pease and 6 brothers and sisters, Dorothy Fowlkes, Mary Studdard, L.V. Pease, Clyde Pease, William Pease and Austin Pease. Pallbearers will be Blake Bledsoe, Landon Fell, Vince Younger, Tony Pease, Billy Pease, Larry Vernon Pease, Benny Prather, Anthony Burns, Kenny Pease and Richard Hallum, Jr. The grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. .
