Carrie Renae Barlow died on October 22, 2013 in an unfortunate helicopter accident while doing what she loved. She was born in Dyersburg to the parents of Jackie and Kay Moore. She was married to Keith Barlow in March of 2008. She graduated from Dyersburg State Community College as a registered nurse and started working in the emergency room at Lauderdale County Community Hospital. She worked in the NICU at Jackson-County Medical Hospital and then pursued her dream of being a Pedi-flight nurse at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. Survived by husband: Keith Barlow, son: Caleb Wright, stepsons: Trysten and Cameron Barlow, father and mother: Jackie and Kay Moore, brother: Blake Moore, Grandmother: Sally Quick, and mother-in-law: Bessie Mae Barlow. She is also survived by 5 nieces, 3 nephews, sister-in-law's Meredith Moore and Angie Akin, and brother-in-law Tommy Akin. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased in death by grandparents: Sanford Quick, Mitchell and Louise Moore, and father-in-law: Jerry Barlow. Carrie touched many lives, was much loved, and will be greatly missed. A MEMORIAL SERVICE, FOR THE CREW OF THE PEDI FLIGHT TEAM, WILL BE HELD IN CORDOVA AT THE HOPE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (8500 WALNUT CREEK RD.) AT 10AM ON TUESDAY THE 29th. On September 15, Mrs. Violet Dean Neely Williams, 92 passed away at home surrounded by family and friends after a short battle with cancer. She was affectionately known as "Granny" or "Aunt Violet" to anyone who knew her for any length of time at all. She was a retired beautician and devout member of the Ripley Church of Christ. Her husband, Joseph "Perry" Williams, her father William Thomas Neely, and her mother Mary Lee Daniels Neely all preceded her in death. Also preceding her were her three sisters Jean Parks, Faye Stites, and Rose Maschinot, along with one brother Edmond Neely and most recently grandson Charles S. Cherry, Jr. and son-in-law Charles A. Cherry. Surviving relatives of Mrs. Williams are as follows: daughter, Perrilyn Williams Cherry, grandson Joe Mack Cherry and wife Tina of Greenbrier, TN. grandson Steve Cherry and wife Cindy of Ripley, TN, great grandsons Adam Cherry and wife Kaela of Allen, TX and Trevor Cherry of Greenbrier, TN. Great granddaughters Jena Cherry Davis and husband Charles of Amarillo, TX, Megan Zachary of Greenbrier, TN and Lauren Cherry of Jackson, TN. Prior to death, Mrs. Williams was able to hold her two-month-old great great granddaughter Ms. Perrilyn Hazel Davis of Amarillo, TX. Tuesday September 17th visitation will be from 5;00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ripley Church of Christ on Hwy. 51 Ripley, TN. Funeral service will be Wednesday September 18th at 1:00 pm, also at the Ripley Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Gates Cemetery. Halls Funeral Home will be in charge with Bro. Robert R. Taylor, Bro. Justin Paschall, and Bro. Stephen Sutton directing the service. Pallbearers are as follows: Dr. Joe Hunt, Larry Carden, Steve Carmack, Raymond Neal, Acie Pike and Jason Chrestman.
