She spent her life caring for her family and many friends. Many would say Grandma's house was always where you were the most comfortable. She enjoyed cooking and made an assortment of candies every year at Christmas. She was an avid gardener and loved tending to her many flowers.

He is also survived by four sisters, Peggy House (Bob), Linda Daniels (Jerry), Genette Copeland (Hershel), all of Dyersburg, Sharon Karr (John David) of Albertville, AL Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elaine Marilyn Benson Seratt, as well as a daughter Lori Seratt and a granddaughter Christina Seratt. He was a wonderful loving brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to all.
